Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Definitions

  • "The Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to ShuffleiT.

  • "The Customer," "you," or "your" refers to the person or company using our services.

  • "Goods" refers to the items being moved or stored.

2. Quotes

  • All quotes are valid for 28 days.

  • Quotes are based on the information you provide. If the volume of goods or the access to the properties changes, we reserve the right to amend the quote.

3. Customer's Responsibilities

  • You warrant that you are the owner of the goods or have the authority to have them moved or stored.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that all goods are packed safely, unless you have requested our packing service.

  • You must ensure that there is adequate and safe access to your properties for our vehicles and staff.

  • You must be present or have a representative present during the collection and delivery of your goods.

4. Removals

  • We will carry out the work with professional care and skill.

  • We are not liable for any damage to goods that have not been packed by us.

  • Our liability for loss or damage is limited. We recommend that you take out separate insurance for your goods.

5. Self-Storage

  • You must not store any illegal, flammable, perishable, or hazardous goods.

  • You are responsible for insuring your goods while they are in storage. We do not insure your goods.

  • We reserve the right to access your storage unit in an emergency or if you fail to pay your storage fees.

  • If you fail to pay your storage fees, we reserve the right to sell your goods to recover the outstanding amount.

6. Payment

  • Payment for removal services is due in full upon completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payment for storage services is due in advance on a monthly basis.

  • We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, credit/debit card.

7. Liability

  • Our liability for any loss or damage to your goods is limited to a maximum of £10 per item, unless a higher value has been declared in writing and an additional charge has been paid.

  • We are not liable for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
